Case studies

The long version.

What the brief was, what we argued about, what we built, and what happened next. Written for people who want the detail rather than the highlight reel.

Ravel

B2B software

2024

A sixty-page SaaS site rebuilt so marketing stopped filing tickets

Every page change went through an engineer. We moved the whole site into Webflow and gave it back to the people who write the words.

The problem
Sixty-two pages built as bespoke React templates, none of them documented. Nine near-identical solution pages, four different button styles, and a blog that had been abandoned because publishing required a pull request.

Discovery, UX/UI design, Webflow build, ongoing support

Nordlys

Renewable energy

2024

An energy company that had to explain itself in one scroll

A complicated business model made legible to councils, investors and residents on the same page.

The problem
The old site opened with a stock photograph of a wind turbine and a sentence about the energy transition. Visitors reached the second scroll still unsure whether Nordlys sold panels, built farms, or ran an investment fund.

Branding, UX/UI design, Webflow build

Palegrove

Hospitality

2023

Six properties, one booking journey, no template

Six hotels with distinct personalities, sharing one system that keeps each of them feeling like itself.

The problem
Consolidating six sites usually flattens them into one beige template. The brief was the opposite: keep what makes each property distinct while making the booking path identical and the whole thing maintainable by two people.
What we did
UX/UI design, Webflow build, ongoing support

Kettleby

Legal services

2023

A professional services site that reads like a person wrote it

Removing a decade of accumulated jargon, and structuring the site around the questions clients actually arrive with.

The problem
Thirty-one practice area pages written by thirty-one different people over ten years, indexed by internal department names that meant nothing to anyone outside the building.
What we did
Branding, UX/UI design, Webflow build

Sundial

Health technology

2025

A clinical product made legible to the people who sign the cheque

One product, two readers: the clinician who has to trust it and the finance director who has to fund it.

The problem
The product content was written by clinicians for clinicians. Accurate, dense, and completely unreadable to the operations and finance people who actually approve the purchase.

Discovery, UX/UI design, Webflow build, ongoing support
